Dr. Camilo Ruiz, DO, FACOI, FAASM, is a distinguished internist and sleep specialist certified by two prominent boards, fluent in both English and Spanish, and with seventeen years of clinical practice experience. His journey into medicine was deeply influenced by the early loss of his father to cancer, igniting within him a profound desire to heal and serve others. Dr. Ruiz pursued his undergraduate education at Florida International University, graduating with Honors in Biological Sciences. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University before embarking on a rigorous Internal Medicine residency in Miami, where he also assumed the role of Chief Resident.
